Two types of agents on a grid, each wanting only some fraction of their neighbors to match their own type — nobody wants a monoculture, nobody is racist by the standard reading, everybody would be content living in a genuinely mixed neighborhood. Anyone below their threshold moves to a random empty spot. That's the whole rule. The question: how mild does that preference have to be before the population still ends up sorted?
